Tai Chi Exercises

Start with a few warm ups - shake out hands and feet, circles with the nose leading, swirling arms side to side.

1. Ground yourself stand with feet apart, arms out, fingers and toes spread, hold for a few moments

2. Making the bed or lifting of hands slow and flowing up and down movements of the hands.

3. Holding the ball take an imaginary ball side to side gently turning it over as you focus on it.

4. Heaven and earth stretch both arms out and up then back to the hara or centre.

5. Cloud hands Turning across body gently swirling hands.

Finish with a warrior bow (eyes front).

Slow and Gentle breath in through the nose on the upward or opening move - out through the mouth on the downward or closing move.
